A hair transplant arranged from abroad is not clinically different from one arranged locally. What differs is that the assessment starts remotely and follow-up continues digitally once you return home. That places the weight of the planning not on the travel dates but on how accurate the remote assessment is — which depends entirely on the information you send.

Airport pick-up
Private transfer from Istanbul or Sabiha Gökçen on arrival and departure.
Accommodation
Two nights at a partner hotel within walking distance of the clinic.
One coordinator
English and Arabic support throughout; the same person from first message to final review.
Remote follow-up
Photo and video reviews at months 1, 3, 6 and 12 after you return.
The three-day schedule
Day 1
Arrival, hotel check-in, consultation and blood tests at the clinic.
Day 2
Hairline design, approval, and the procedure. Rest at the hotel that evening.
Day 3
First wash at the clinic, aftercare training, transfer to the airport.
The schedule can shift depending on case load. Flights and visa applications are the patient's responsibility; an invitation letter is issued on request.
Before you fly
The accuracy of a remote assessment depends on what you send. With the following ready, dates can usually be settled in a single conversation.
- Photos from the front, top, both sides and the back, taken in good light
- A list of medications you take and any chronic conditions
- If you take blood thinners, tell us in advance — adjustment is made under physician guidance
- If you have had a transplant before: the date and, if available, the graft count
- Your travel window and how many days you can stay in Istanbul
After you return
Follow-up does not end when you board the plane. Reviews are scheduled from the outset and run through the same coordinator.
- Month 1
- Photo review. Crusting and early shedding are assessed.
- Month 3
- Shock loss period. A video call explains what is happening and prevents unnecessary worry.
- Month 6
- First meaningful assessment of growth and density.
- Month 12
- Final assessment and, if needed, a support plan.
Frequently asked questions
How many days do I need in Istanbul?
At least three full days: consultation and blood tests, the procedure, and the first wash. Return flights are not booked before the third day, because the first wash needs to be done at the clinic.
When can I fly after the procedure?
Usually two to three days afterwards, once the first wash is done. Keep luggage away from your head and use a loose hood rather than a cap.
Do you provide an invitation letter?
Yes. If your visa application requires one, we issue an invitation letter with your appointment dates. The outcome of a visa application is decided by the consulate and cannot be guaranteed by the clinic.
Which languages do you work in?
Turkish, English and Arabic. Your coordinator does not change during the process — travel planning and clinical information come through the same person.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Accommodation and transfers are arranged for companions too; let us know when planning your dates.
