A hair transplant cost cannot be quoted as an average before assessment. The total is decided by the number of grafts, the technique chosen, the condition of the donor area, how long the procedure takes and what is included in the package. These vary from patient to patient, which is why a figure is only meaningful after the scalp has been assessed and a graft plan drawn up.
Six factors that set the total
Graft count
The single biggest factor. The width of the area and the density you are aiming for set the graft range, measured against donor capacity.
Technique
Sapphire FUE, DHI and no-shave procedures need different equipment, team sizes and durations. No-shave DHI takes the longest.
Donor condition
Lower donor density or a previous procedure makes planning more delicate, which affects both duration and cost.
Procedure length
A high graft count in one session means more operating room time and more team hours.
What is included
Blood tests, anaesthetist, aftercare kit, first wash, follow-up reviews and — for international patients — transfer coordination.
Physician involvement
Whether hairline design and channel opening are carried out by the physician is a real difference in both quality and cost.

Where a low quote comes from
Most of the cost is team time, consumables and sterile conditions, and those are fixed. A markedly lower quote usually involves one of the following:
- Graft counts that are never documented — fewer grafts placed than agreed is the most common problem.
- The procedure carried out entirely by assistants rather than a physician.
- Savings made on consumables and sterile conditions.
- No follow-up programme, so nobody assesses the result at month twelve.
- Items added to the quoted figure after the procedure has started.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no price on this page?
Because a hair transplant is not a standard product. Two patients can need different graft counts, have different donor capacity and suit different techniques. Quoting one figure would be misleading. Your own figure is shared in writing after your photos have been assessed.
Is it charged per graft or as a package?
Clinics differ. With per-graft pricing, ask in advance whether the total can change during the procedure. Our figure is fixed before the procedure, based on the planned graft range and scope.
Why are quotes from different clinics so far apart?
Most of the cost is team time, consumables and sterile facilities — these are fixed. A markedly lower quote usually means one of those has been reduced, or that graft numbers are not documented.
Can extra charges appear later?
Not unless something outside the agreed scope becomes necessary. If the plan changes during the procedure, you are consulted before it continues.
Do you offer packages for international patients?
Accommodation and transfers can be more competitive through group arrangements, and that is normal. The clinical items are the same. Always ask which line the difference comes from.
