Alpha Lipoic Acid
An antioxidant support treatment given intravenously.

Alpha lipoic acid is a compound with known antioxidant properties, given in an infusion in intravenous applications. It is planned as support and is not presented as a treatment for any disease. Because it can affect glucose metabolism, patients with diabetes require physician supervision and blood glucose monitoring.

Frequently asked questions
Can someone with diabetes have it?
Because it can affect blood glucose, it is planned only under physician supervision with regular monitoring. If monitoring is not possible, it is not given.
I take thyroid medication — is that a problem?
Because of the possibility of interaction with thyroid medication, it is not planned without physician approval; medication timing may also be adjusted.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no standard number. The programme is set for the individual following a physician assessment.
