Liquid Facelift
A non-surgical, injection-based plan for the face as a whole.
A liquid facelift is not a single procedure; it is the planning of filler, biostimulator and, where needed, botulinum toxin applications together with the whole face in mind. The aim is to support the areas where laxity and volume loss are most marked and so refine the contours. It is not a substitute for a surgical facelift and will not give the expected result in someone with a significant excess of skin.

When it is not appropriate
- Significant excess and sagging of skin — that picture requires surgery
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Autoimmune disease in an active phase
- People whose expectation is at the level of a surgical result

How it is done

Areas of volume loss, laxity and asymmetry are assessed together with photographs.

Plan
Which product is applied where and in what quantity is set out and shared with you.

Review
A review after 2–4 weeks; a completing session is planned if needed.
Afterwards
- Avoid sleeping face down and pressure on the area for the first 48 hours.
- Sauna, steam room and strenuous exercise are not advised in the first week.
- Bruising and swelling are expected findings in the first days.
- Do attend the planned review appointment.
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace surgery?
No. A liquid facelift is effective for mild to moderate volume loss and laxity. Where there is significant excess skin it is not the equivalent of a surgical facelift, and the patient is referred to the relevant specialty.
How long does the result last?
Depending on the products used and the individual, generally 12–24 months. A maintenance plan is set at the review.
How many days off work do I need?
Most people return to work the next day. Because of swelling and possible bruising, if you have an important social event it is easier to plan 5–7 days ahead of it.
